I almost felt silly applying for a visa just to watch four days of cricket, worried it sounded too thin on paper. Emig's advice was simple though, back it up with specifics, exact dates, tickets, hotel, return flight. Added my employment letter and savings proof and submitted online. Got approved in March, saw the Boxing Day Test finally. Owe Emig big time for this one.
