There's no certificate for a twelve-year friendship, that was my whole problem, most advice online only talked about family visits. Emig showed me how to actually prove a friendship instead, old photos, Elnaz's own letter, the wedding invitation, plus my work project back home and a return flight already booked. Visa issued in June, stood beside her at her wedding. Really thankful to Emig for figuring that out with me.
