My cousin convinced me to go for Express Entry instead of a study visa, since I already had eight years of engineering experience behind me. The real headache was getting my university to send my transcript to the right place, three tries before it worked. Emig's team told me exactly what to say to the registrar, down to the reference number. PR confirmed in February, now settling into Calgary.
