My parents had been saving in lira for two years, not realizing exchange rate shifts meant it was worth less in Canadian dollars than they'd assumed. Emig caught the gap in time and helped us convert and document it properly before applying. Visa issued in August, started my program at Guelph right on schedule. Truly grateful to Emig for catching something none of us thought to check.
