My program's start date came and went while I was stuck in administrative processing for seven months, I had no idea that also meant I needed a formal deferral and new I-20. Emig walked me through all of that so nothing fell apart on top of the wait. Visa issued in May, finally in the lab at Santa Barbara now. Truly grateful to Emig for handling the part I didn't even know I had to worry about.
